Thanks to the STIHL anti-vibration system, you can work with the STIHL MS 172 chainsaw while protecting your muscles and joints. This means that your chainsaw runs smoothly and evenly.
The single-lever control is very convenient, enabling you to perform all functions with just one hand. If you take a break, the chainsaw is ready to use again immediately. The combi-lever with stop function automatically springs back into the operating position. Another advantage of using the MS 172 from STIHL: Side-mounted chain tensioning ensures safe and easy chain retensioning without any contact with the sharp chain or the tips of the claw stop.
